Hello Speech Community!
You are cordially invited to the 2nd annual White Bear Lake Area Bear Claw Speech Invitational! We're excited invite you back for a great day of Speech to help wrap up the invitational season. We will run all 13 MSHSL events as well as POI, and are currently splitting Extemp Speaking in US and International.
Information regarding Ex Reading, Storytelling, and Discussion:
-Ex Reading: We will be using ALL selections between Prose and Poetry.
-Storytelling: We will be using ALL stories.
-Discussion: Information will be provided about discussion tasks in early March.
There will be a judges meeting 8:30AM, with Round 1 of Discussion beginning at 8:45AM, and all other rounds beginning at 9AM.
Students may double or triple enter if they choose. Students in Discussion may not double enter in draw categories.
NIETOC bid status is pending.
Registration and Fees
The cost is $7 per entry.
Our registration deadline to enter and change entries is Wednesday March 25th, at 4PM.
We will be site-scheduling, so please let us know by 7:45 AM on tournament day if there are any changes.
We look forward to seeing you on the 28th of March!
