General information This is a High School tournament in Minnesota. View manager contact information
Hello, and welcome to the 2026 RWHS Speech Invitational Meet!
Based on positive feedback from teams last year, we will once again offer Team Recognition's in Small, Medium and Large School Divisions in addition to awarding individual recognition to the 1st-6th Place Finalists and Honorable Mentions as appropriate. Winning teams will receive a trophy for the Head Coach to display locally. Finalists will receive a ribbon.
JUDGES: 1 per 6 entries. Electronic ballots/critiques are being used.
DRAWS: All selections are "game". Online draws will be used. Students will check in at the library desk, where the draw manager will release their online draw. Chromebooks will be available at the draw counter for students without personal devices to draw from.
Registration is now open!

Also, please note that while this is an invitational meet and we will not be disqualifying competitors, we will be supplying/honoring the 25-26 MSHSL Speech Rules to help support our students as they prepare for MSHSL level tournaments later in the season.
UPDATE: Based on registration numbers, we have room this season to allow for DOUBLE ENTRY at the RWHS Speech Invitational on Feb. 28th 2026.
If you are planning to double enter any of your speakers, please follow the guidelines below.
+ We are allowing SINGLE and DOUBLE Entry only.
+ Please remember: Judging requirements and registration fees are PER ENTRY, not per student. A competitor that is Double Entered counts as TWO for judge needs and fees. (If you have a Duo and each partner is in a solo event as well, this would count as 3 Entries: Duo, Solo, Solo.)
+ Discussion Competitors: Disco rounds will begin 15 minutes after other non-draw categories. If you have a Disco speaker that is Double Entering, they should go to their non-draw category and speak first. This will give them 5 minutes to travel to their disco table for the start of the disco round.
+ Disco competitors cannot double enter in draw events.
+ Draw Competitors: We will not be manually adjusting or changing assigned draw/speak times. If you have a draw competitor that wants to double enter, please make sure that they know that they must honor their draw/speak times. This means that if they are late to draw from their other category, they will have less prep time and will still be expected to speak at their scheduled time.
+ Draw competitors cannot double enter in discussion.
Please email me with any questions you may have. I am looking forward to seeing you on February 28th!
