Dear Forensics Coaches,

We would love to invite your team to attend the Silverbrook Intermediate School Forensics Tournament on Friday, January 30th. There will be two rounds for each category and MLFA rules will be followed. 

Registration: This year, we will be using SpeechWire! Our registration will open with the Week 1 SpeechWire Tournaments on January 10th, 2026 at 9:20 am. The entry fee is $7.00 per student. Please make checks out to Silverbrook Intermediate School and mail them to 120 N. Silverbrook Drive West Bend, WI 53095 

 

Student Meal Orders: Student meals must be pre-ordered through Speechwire.

-Mini Sub Meal - $7.00: (ham, turkey, or veggie), a bag of chips, a cookie, and a water bottle 

-Half Sub Meal - $9.00 (ham, turkey, or veggie), a bag of chips, a cookie, and a water bottle 

 

Students can bring cash to buy frozen custard cups, candy, chips, and drinks. Your total food cost will be included with your speechwire invoice.

 

Judges: Please furnish one judge for every 5 entries. Teams will be charged $80 for missing judges or judges who are a “no-show”. Please be sure that you provide trained judges, who are also registered. Food will be provided for judges at no cost and does not need to be pre-ordered. Please let us know if you are bringing additional adults besides the number of judges listed in SpeechWire and if any can help in the tab room, infractions table, or with ribbon counting. 

Please update your entries, judges, and meal orders on Speechwire by WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21st 3:00 P.M. No ads or drops will be accepted after that date and time.

Awards: Ribbons will be awarded to every contestant. Scores of 44 or better will earn a blue ribbon, 43 and below, a red ribbon. Medals will be awarded to the top scoring entries.

Tentative Schedule: 

4:30 p.m. Arrival/ Registration Begins. 

5:00 p.m. Student Meeting in the gym, Judges meeting in the library

5:20 p.m. Round 1 

6:00 p.m. Dinner/ break 

7:00 p.m. Round 2 

7:30 p.m. DJ/ Dance in the gym

9:00 p.m. awards in the gym
