Dear Forensic Colleagues:

We invite you and your teams to join us for the 2025-2026 Valley Forensic League season! We are thrilled at VFL 1-2 to offer both speech and parliamentary debate competition on November 14th and 15th at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.

The competition will offer all 11 AFA-NST events on both days as well as parliamentary debate on Saturday. We will recognize all finalists in each event, top novice in each event, and the top three teams. We will also recognize outround participants in debate.

League fees for the year are $125.00 and covers event entry and some refreshments for participants. The league fees do not cover uncovered judge slots, which will be $15.00 per uncovered slot. One full time judge will cover 6 entries, or a portion thereof. Debate judges cover 2 entries. Schools are asked to cover all slots whenever possible to cut down on hired judge costs. All judges are expected to help cover final rounds.

Payments will be accepted via cash or check made out to the Valley Forensic League, but a digital option is being worked on. We will update with more details at a later date.
