Sauk Centre Speech Tournament

We are so excited to host our speech meet again this year!

Our theme this year is Valentines day of course! 

Date: Saturday, February 15th, 2020

Sauk Centre Secondary School

Entries:

• Final numbers due Monday, February 10th, 2020
• Adds/Drops will be open until Friday, February 14th @ 3:00 PM
• Emergency Adds/Drops can be made Saturday by contacting Coach Noah by phone at 320-429-1847

Contestants: Limit of six entries per category. Double entering is allowed.

Cost: $6.00 per entry with duos counting as one for entry fees.

Categories: Thirteen regular MSHSL events.  MSHSL rules will be followed.

Format: Three rounds. We will offer Finals if warranted.

Awards: Medals to top six places, team trophies for the top 3 schools.

Judges: Please provide one judge per 6 entries.  If you need additional judges, we have some available for "rent" at $80 each. (Please let me know in advance. This will help me in securing additional judges.)

We will be using the e-ballot system.  Please enter your judges emails when registering your team.

Meals: Concessions will be available including pizza.  Food will be provided for Coaches and Judges in the lounge.

7:30 AM - Registration

8:15 AM - Coaches and Judges Meeting

8:30 AM - Draws Begin for Round 1

9:00 AM - Round 1

9:15 AM - Discussion - Round 1

9:45 AM - Draws Begin for Round 2

10:15 AM - Round 2

10:30 AM - Discussion - Round 2

11:05 AM - Draws Begin for Round 3

11:35 AM - Round 3

11:50 AM - Discussion - Round 3

12:20 PM - Draws Begin for Finals

(1:00 PM - Awards, if no finals)

12:50 PM - Finals

1:05 PM - Discussion - Final

2:00 PM - Awards
