This Tournament is only for Public Schools and SAUSD approved Charter Schools.

School Tournament Fee - $20.00
Judging Fee - $100.00
Individual Event Fee - $5.00 per event
Team Events: Public Forum, Duo - $10.00

Free Food Provided for Students, Coaches, and Judges 
 
Deadline: 
All entries must be in by January 21st without exception

Drops by January 22nd - No Fee
Late Drop Fees after January 22nd - $10.00
Late Drop Fees after January 23rd - $20.00

Middle School Events (Pattern B)

General Information:

Each school may enter a maximum of 15 entries for each event. 
Schools will be allowed to enter 10 Lincoln Douglas Debaters per school.

Middle school students may only enter 2 individual events in Patterns A and B.
Students entered in Pattern C (Lincoln Douglas Debate, Extemp)  may NOT double enter.

Elementary students may double enter.

Students advancing to the semi-finals will receive medals. Students in Varsity advancing to the final round will receive a trophy.  Elementary students advancing in the consolation finals and finals will receive medals. Elementary Schools will be awarded three sweepstakes award for the top elementary teams.  Novice students advancing into semi-finals and finals will receive medals. Some events may go straight to finals depending on entry size. 

Lincoln Douglas Debate: 
Resolved: States ought to eliminate their nuclear arsenal

 

We will provide Intermediate Schools sweepstakes awards for the top five schools and top three small schools.
