This 7-9 invitational will take place at ST. PETER MIDDLE SCHOOL (100 Lincoln Drive, St. Peter), formerly St. Peter Middle and Senior High School.
SCHEDULE
2:30-3:30 Registration in cafeteria
3:45 Round 1
4:55 Round 2
6:15 Round 3
7:30 Awards
It is our goal to have everyone on the road by 8:45.
ENTRIES
All entries are $3 with each Duo pair counting as one entry. Registration will be held from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Registration materials can be found at the main entrance to the cafeteria. Please make checks payable to St. Peter Public Schools.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
All draw categories should come prepared to the meet. There will be no draws.
STORYTELLING: CONTESTANTS WILL DELIVER A DIFFERENT STORY OF THEIR CHOOSING EACH ROUND.
EX READING: CONTESTANTS WILL DELIVER A DIFFERENT READING OF THEIR CHOOSING EACH ROUND.
EXTEMPORANEOUS SPEAKING: QUESTIONS WILL BE SENT THE WEEK BEFORE AND STUDENTS WILL CHOOSE THEIR THREE FROM THAT LIST TO DELIVER.
DISCUSSION: TASKS WILL BE SENT OUT THE WEEK BEFORE.
FOOD
A concession stand will be available with a variety of food.
JUDGES
Your school must provide one judge for every six entries or fraction thereof. Please indicate each judge's preference on the registration form. Experienced high speech members may be used as judges.
BUSES: Drop off Students on Lincoln Drive. Buses should park in the football parking lot above the school off Grace Street.
