Minnewaska Area Schools 7-12 Speech Tournament

Saturday, February 1st

 

Dear Speech Coaches,

 

The Minnewaska Area speech team would like to invite you to a 7-12 tournament on Saturday, February 1st at Minnewaska Area High School. This competition is for Junior and Senior high team members, in all 13 categories. Awards will be three team trophies, first through sixth ribbons/pins. 

 

Cost will be $5.00 per entry with double entries allowed. Please make your checks out to Minnewaska Area Schools. Please provide one judge per every six entries. Discussion will be delayed 10 minutes to allow for double entry.

 

Schedule: 

8:00- 8:30 am Registration-By district office

8:30 am Draws begin for round I; media center

8:40 am Judges meeting

9 am Round I 

10 am Draws for round II; media center

10:30 am Round II

11:30 am Draws for round III; media center

12:00 pm Round III

2 pm Awards in the Main Gym

 

The registration deadline will be Wednesday, January 29th. Please do last-minute drops/adds once your busses leave that morning as we'll schedule the meet prior to round one. Food will be available for the students to purchase at the concessions stand, and there will be food provided for judges and coaches in the judges’ room.
