Delta Panther Invitational Forensics Tournament
General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a High School tournament in Colorado. View manager contact information You are invited to the Panther Invitational Forensics Tournament. Our team hopes to offer a competitive and fun tournament on Saturday, January 11th, 2020, at Delta High School. CHSAA rules will be followed; specifics are available in the current handbook. You can mail the check to Delta High School Speech Team, 1400 Pioneer Road, Delta, CO 81416. I prefer if you bring the check with you on the day of the tournament.
We will offer two waves of events over the course of the day. Competitors may enter one Wave A event and one Wave Event.
WAVE A Congressional Debate Combined Extemporaneous Speaking Original Oratory Interpretation of Dramatic Literature Interpretation of Humorous Literature Interpretation of Poetry
WAVE B Public Forum Debate Lincoln-Douglas Debate Programmed Oral Interpretation Informative Speaking Duo Interpretation Creative Storytelling
Registration will be on speechwire.com, and will be available on The tournament entry fees will be $8.00 per competitor per event and $16.00 for team events. No refunds will be given after fees are set at 10 p.m. on Thursday, January 9th, 2020.
We will be providing a well stocked, reasonably priced concession stand. This is a team fundraiser, so please encourage your team to bring a few bucks and sample our delicious fare! Our speech team parents will feed coaches and judges. CONGRESS! We are hosing a Novice Congress room. Please enter your students that do not have a lot of experience. If no one steps up as Presiding Officer, Delta can cover that. CONGRESS! Please have your students write legislation. With the Christmas Break upon us, please ask your kids to write it on break and submit it to you (then me) ASAP. We hope to provide a quality competitive experience for you and your team, and we look forward to seeing you in Delta!
