SpeechWire Tournament Services - Forensics Tournament Software

Whitmer High School Speech & Debate is proud to once again be hosting a tournament! We hope you choose to join us on January 4, 2020 for our Winter Wonderland Tournament (& we hope there is no actual outdoor winter wonderland weather to go with it).

ENTRIES

We will be running three rounds and a final in all IE Events. Double entries in Speech will be allowed. During the final round, competitors not advancing will have the opportunity to participate in consolation events such as pantomime, improv duo, broadcasting, etc... free of charge.

There will be four rounds in LD and PF Debate and three sessions of Congress.

FEES

Tournament fees will include a $5.00 team fee plus $5.00 per high school and $3.00 per middle school competitor. Please make all checks payable to Whitmer Speech & Debate Team.

JUDGES

Please bring one judge for every five students in the individual events, one judge for every 1-2 teams entered in debate, and one judge/parliamentarian per school for Congress.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

We are offering all OSDA Middle School Events except policy. See schedule for round schedule. As we are running these concurrently with high school rounds, you will need to bring judges that are qualified to judge high school. However, these entries will be included in the general ratio for judges.
