The Battle Lake Lions Club and the Battle Lake Speech team invite you to the Battle Lake Lions Club Speech Invitational on Sat., February 29 at Battle Lake School.  This competition is for junior and senior high students, in all 13 MSHSL categories.  Awards will be three team trophies, 1st-6th place medals, and ribbons. 

 

There will be 3 rounds and a final. Discussion begins 15 minutes after the start of each round, enabling double entry for discussants. 

 

Cost:  $6.00 per entry.  Double entries allowed.  Please make checks payable to Battle Lake Public School. 

 

Registration:  Deadline to register is Thurs., February 27 at 5 pm via Speechwire.com.  No refunds after that time. 

 

Registration limits:  The tournament will accept 20 teams or 400 registrations. 

    

Judges:  1 judge per 6 entries regardless of subsequent drops.  Battle Lake has extra judges for $80. To reserve a judge, please contact Kjersten Lukken at kjlukken@isd542.org by Feb. 22.
