This is a High School tournament in Tennessee.

Hello Coaches,

Some logistics and what not for our tournament. You can park in the main parking lot which is located at our main entrance of the school. If that parking fills up you may park in the athletic lot which is to the left of the school when you enter. The football field is located in that area. Buses can use the loop to drop off students but may park behind the school during the tournament. 

Competitors can TRIPLE at this tournament. 

The debate team limit per school is 10.  Debaters can ONLY debate, they are not allowed to double or triple.

Please make sure that you register your team before the deadline, which is September 24th by 11:59pm.  After that you will be charged a late fee for adds, drops, etc.. Late fees or drops are $7 per change/drop.

For payment: you can pay by cash or check. If you are paying by check please make the check out to RHS and in the memo write Forensics Tournament Registration fee. 

Our opening ceremony for the students will be in the Cafeteria, which will start @ 8:05. 

Judges can wait in the judges lounge, which is in the Gym lobby. There will be signs and students to guide you there.  That is where we will have our judges meeting before the tournament and be handing out ballots for each round.  

Extemp draw will start at 8:00am in the library for round 1.  

Round 1 will start at 8:30am and go on from there. 

Round 2 @ 10am

Round 3 @ 11:30am

Finals @ 1:30pm

Awards @ 3:00pm

We will be serving concessions to the competitors during the day and serving breakfast/lunch for them as well.  There will be allergy friendly food there so please refrain from your students bringing in extra meals as this is a fundraiser so we are trying to raise money through the means of the concessions and meals as well. 

If you have adds or drops the night before please text coach Kaufman at (631) 678-6347...... Even if it's the morning of and you are traveling to the tournament please make that communication as soon as you know so we can fix those issues before tournament time.
