BEST Burgas East Regional Tournament

The Bulgarian English Speech and Debate Tournaments Foundation (BEST), in conjunction with Goethe GLHS in Burgas, invites all high school students to register now for the Fall BEST East Regional Speech and Debate Tournament of the 2019-2020 season.
The tournament will be held on November 30 - December 1 2019 at Goethe GHLS in Burgas.
This competition will be a challenging, engaging, and fun opportunity for students to practice their public speaking and argumentation skills in English, as well as meet other motivated students from around the country.
Students can compete individually in the following events: Prose, Poetry, or Oratory. They can also compete in teams of two in Duo or teams of three in World Schools Debate. Detailed explanations and rules for each event are outlined in the Events Overview page. Participants are divided into Novice (Grades 8 and 9) or Varsity (Grades 10, 11, 12) divisions. Novice students can compete in Varsity if they so choose. Novice competitors must compete in Varsity if they are competing in a team event (Duo or Debate) and their teammates are in the Varsity division.
Winners will receive medals, certificates, and local media publicity.

Please note that we should receive all your supporting documentation by this date. More specifically, we need your photo release forms, and the entry fees wired to the BEST bank account.
