Please make sure that you have created a Speechwire account and entered your students into your team roster before beginning the registration process.

Registration closes January 15th at noon.

 

If your school has a bus package, please remember it is your responsibility to reserve the buses in plenty of time and PLEASE reserve early enough to arrive before 7:00A so you can be sure to account for any “morning-of” mishaps. “Buses running late” will not shift the start time of the tournament or other events.

Registration now requires for you to input your volunteers. The system will ask you what your “type” of volunteers you are providing (i.e. “accounting”, “spelling”, etc.). Selection of these “types” is not a guarantee that the volunteer will exclusively work in that event, nor does it suggest that event is all we require. Please remember, any volunteer should be available the whole day (7:30-4:30P). Send me an e-mail if this is an issue. Meals will not be pre-ordered for volunteers we do not know about.

 

The registration will kick your student out if you attempt to cross enter a student. So please make sure you are following the conflict pattern rules and schedule. Should you get an error message that is incorrect, please screenshot and save. Complete your registration and then email me the screenshot so we can troubleshoot for that specific student but insure that your team is ready to go.

 

Note that by registering your students in this tournament, you take full responsibility and ownership that each participant has completed and signed a copy of the “Extracurricular Code of Student Conduct” that is required by Houston ISD and the Professional Acknowledgement Form required by UIL from coordinators.
