General Information about this tournament -- This tournament will be conducted using the manuals and policies of the Ohio Speech and Debate Association.

Arrival:

BUSES: Drop off at the "D1" entrance on Everett Road, across from St. Victor Church. Enter through that door. Bus drivers should park at Richfield School (just east of St. Victor, at the NW corner of Everett and Revere Roads)

CARS: Please park in the spots behind the building, the "hole in the wall" and extending back towards the Middle School. You may enter there.

Handicapped/disabled: The "B6' entrance will be open, but PLEASE for those with disabilities only.

Registration will be at a table in the Science Wing (located just inside the "D1" entrance. Please make all payments, changes, etc. at this site.

Student holding is in the cafeteria at both schools -- at the south end of the HS building and the east end of the MS building. Student volunteers will direct everyone there.

Judges lounge -- Judges will assemble and stay in the LIBRARY at the High School (this is just above the Science Wing). Judges will assemble and stay in a CHOIR ROOM at the Middle School.

TAB will be in the High School, Room 139 (Same floor, but north of the Cafeteria). Signs will be posted.

ELECTRONIC BALLOTS -- (Presuming the tournament manager can figure it out...) we plan to use electronic balloting as much as possible for this tournament.  Watch for additional details (Wifi).

Please sign in all competitors and judges no later than 8:15 AM.

Eligibility:

Events:

4 rounds of all OSDA Speech events

3 rounds of 2-person Policy

3 rounds of Big Questions Debate (can be single or dual entries -- six entries minimum). Students and judges will need to complete the NSDA "BQD Evaluation" form as well.

3 sessions of Student Congress 

4 rounds of LD and PF

LD, PF, and Policy will be randomly paired for the first two rounds, then powered afterward.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

We will offer three rounds of all events in the OSDA Middle School Tournament Manual. We also plan to hold a separate awards ceremony for the Middle Schoolers as well.

TWO SESSIONS OF STUDENT CONGRESS -- Bills on the MS docket (adopted from the OSDA State Middle School Docket) Will be:  1,2, 6,8, 9 and 10.

ONLY STUDENTS IN THE 6, 7, or 8 grades can compete, per OSDA rules. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Awards:

Awards will be given to the top 6 in events with more than 10 entries.

We hope to have awards up and running by 2:30 at the MS, and at 3:30 at the HS. SPECIAL NOTE -- If you have a "stand alone" MS program, you can depart after MS awards or stick around for the HS awards a as well.  We are planning to hold awards in the most "space appropriate" place at both facilities, probably the gym. We will update with details.
