Eligibility:    Any regularly enrolled undergraduate in his/her first two years of competition is eligible to participate. Contestants may participate in three events per group – please advise students that they triple-enter at their own risk and encourage them to get to their rounds quickly so we can keep things running smoothly.

Fees:  $8 per slot per competitor…Each school is required to provide one judge for every six slots.  The fee for uncovered slots is $10 per uncovered slot. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do your best to bring qualified judges.

Events:  The tournament offers sweepstakes events in three groupings.  Each school is limited to six entries for each individual event.  Events will follow the rules according to PHI RHO PI.  {www.phirhopi.org}

Awards:  The top six competitors in each individual event {based on prelim ranks; tie-breaking procedures will be employed to eliminate ties} will compete in a final round. 

Points:  Each first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth place in final rounds will accumulate 12,10,8,6,4, and 2 points respectively.  If we have seventh place finishers in finals, they will be awarded one point.

Sweeps:  Sweepstake awards will be given to the five schools accumulating the greatest number of final round points.

Entries:  All entries must be on speechwire by 5:00 PM Tuesday, Oct. 23

                     All entries will be confirmed by 6pm Tuesday        

                           Adds: Without charge until noon on Oct. 24 {Wed}

                     Drops: Without charge until noon on Oct 26 {Fri}

Drops made after deadline are $10; at registration they are $25! Judge drops are $50!
