Minnewaska Area Schools 7-12 Speech Invitational

Saturday, February 3rd

 

Dear Speech Coaches,

 

The Minnewaska Area speech team would like to invite you to a 7-12 invitational on Saturday, February 3rd at Minnewaska Area High School. This competition is for Junior and Senior high team members, in all 13 categories. Awards will be three team trophies, first through sixth ribbons/pins.

 

Cost will be $5.00per entry with double entries allowed. Please make your checks out to Minnewaska Area Schools. Please provide one judge per every six entries. Discussion will be delayed 10 minutes to allow for double entry.

 

Schedule:       

8:00- 8:30 am  Registration-By district office

8:30 am           Draws begin for round I; media center

8:40 am           Judges meeting

9 am                Round I

10 am              Draws for round II; media center

10:30 am         Round II

11:30 am         Draws for round III; media center

12:00 pm         Round III

2 pm                Awards in the Main Gym

 

Registration deadline will be Friday, January 26th. Drop/Add deadline will be Wednesday, February 1^st, with no refunds after the 1^st. Food will be available for the students to purchase at the concessions stand, and there will be food provided for judges and coaches in the judges’ room.
