Luther Prep Forensics Festival
General information This information is from a tournament in a past season! This is a Middle School tournament in Wisconsin. View manager contact information We are excited to host the 35th Luther Prep Forensics Festival on Friday, November 3rd. Coaches are to have all students registered in Speechwire by midnight Monday, October 30th. Schedule for Friday, November 3, 2017 5:15 Registration Begins 5:50 Judges and Coaches Meeting in Auditorium Room A7 6:00 Opening Devotion and Pictures in Auditorium 6:30 Round I 7:50 Round II 9:10 Encore Presentations (Awards Distribution to Follow) Entry and Fee Structure $5.00 per entry (2 entries per category up to 10 total; if you have 2 per category with 10 total entries, your team is allowed 2 additional at-large entries) $10 per uncovered judge (One judge 1-6 entries; two judges 7-12 entries) Encore schools - please email your encore presenters to Cindy Krause (krausecl@lps.wels.net) ahead of time.
Please register here on SpeechWire as we have done the last several years. You must have two students in each category (Informative, Demonstration, Poetry, Prose, and Storytelling) to be eligible for at-large entries. If you have these ten entries filled, your team may be represented by up to two at-large entries.
It is always our goal for the Luther Prep Forensics Festival that most work will be done by LPS forensics participants, speech students, and teachers. However, we will more than likely need your help securing judges for the event. Please supply one judge if your team has six or less entries. If your team has seven or more entries, please supply two judges. If we do not need your judge(s) after final scheduling, we will contact you on Thursday, November 2nd via email.
