during natural disasters?

Double Entry

Students may enter two events, with the exception of Discussion & Radio. In duo, both contestants may double; however any given student may not participate in two duos of any kind.  Those students doubled in Impromptu must go to Impromptu last.  Double-entered students are responsible for getting to both events during rounds.  While judges will be made aware of double entered students on their ballots, students should still inform their judges that they are double entered.

Awards

We will have awards for the top 12 in all events.  Team Trophies will be given to the top 3 teams with 1 to 20 entries and to the top 3 teams with 21 and more entries.

Judges

Each school is required to provide one full-time qualified judge for each six entries entered or portion thereof. We can arrange for hired judges.  A hired judge can be hired for $30 (to cover 6 slots).

Food

Concessions will be available for lunch and a cafeteria is within walking distance of tournament headquarters.

Entries

We should receive your entry no later than 5:00pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2017. While we prefer you register using Speechwire, if that is not possible mail us your entries to mkmoore@bsu.edu.

Parking

It is suggested that you park north of the Robert Bell building (RED R2 lot) and gain access to the Letterman building through the Robert Bell building.  Be sure to look for signs.
