Dear Fellow 6dayworkweekers,

This is the official invitation to the 2025 Mentor Mark Rotar-nament Tournament.  

When:  Saturday, November 14, 2026
Where:  Mentor HS (6477 Center St, Mentor, OH)

Registration Deadline:  Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 4pm
Cost $6 per student, $10 base fee per team

General Info:  All events: IE, Policy, LD, PF, Big Qs and Congressional Debate. Plus the OSDA Middle School events. Plus ASYNCHRONOUS online Prose Reading and Prepared Extemp Commentary.

Judge requirements:

Debate - 1 Judge per 1 or 2  entries
        Speech & Congress - 1 Judge for up to 5 entries
 (2 for 6-10, 3 for 11 - 15, etc.)
          

Please register judges by Thursday, November 12 at 4 PM.

Check in:  Check in will be from 8:00am to 8:30am.  Please be prompt, we would like to begin Round I promptly at 9:00am.  Extemp draw is scheduled for 8:31am.
 

Debate Topics – We will use the November resolutions for high school debate.  The MS Public Forum resolution is Resolved: On balance, the use of social media has harmed American Democracy.

High School Congress will use the state docket for Nov 14.

Middle School Congress will use items 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 on the OSDA Middle School docket.

Big Questions Debate is really cool. Please participate.

Prepared Extemp Commentary topic is: Election Reform. Videos for Prepared Extemp Commentary and Prose Reading will be due at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, Nov 10. 

No craft fair this year, but we will co-exist with a mattress sale.
