Bridgeport Speech Invite
General information This is a High School tournament in Nebraska. View manager contact information Welcome, coaches, to the 2026 Bridgeport Speech Invite! Our meet will be held Saturday, January 23, 2027 at Bridgeport Public Schools! As always, schools must register through Speechwire. TOURNAMENT INFO: DROP OFF at the West door at the intersection of 8th and Q streets. We are also hosting MAC Basketball, and we want to stay out of their way (plus they might try to charge you admission).
We will be presenting an award for Individual Sweepstakes Champion.
BUS PARKING is available at the EAST gravel lot at the intersection of S and 9th Streets (Across the football field from the school).
ENTRIES ARE DUE are due before 7:59 PM on Tuesday, January 19. Each team will be required to pay a flat fee of $7 per entry.
Please provide ONE JUDGE FOR EVERY SIX ENTRIES. Teams will be charged $50 for each uncovered judging assignment.
REGISTRATION will open at 7:45 am; rounds will begin at 8:30 AM.
Additionally, a concession stand will be provided for students, and a hospitality room will be offered for judges, coaches, and bus drivers.
Awards will be held in the AUDITORIUM. Medals for places 1-6 will be awarded, as well as Team Sweepstakes champion and Runner Up for Classes A/B and C/D; and one Individual Sweepstakes champion will be awarded.
