The South Elgin High School Stormin' Speech Team would love to invite you all to our Ugly Sweater Soirée on Saturday, December 19!
In keeping with tradition, we encourage all teams to ditch the suits for a weekend and showcase your ugliest holiday sweaters! :)
STRUCTURE
We will be offering a tournament with two preliminary rounds of competition (one of which will be double-judged) followed by finals. Radio and Extemp will prep once in the morning and use that script all day.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
AWARDS
All finalists in each category will receive an award. The top three teams from preliminary rounds will receive trophies.
A special award will also be given to the best ugly sweater out there.
FEES
1-14 entries: $150.00
15-27 entries: $200.00
28+ entries: $250.00

JUDGES
To support our double-judged rounds, we are asking all teams to provide 1 judge per 5 entries.
