To: Oxbow Invitational Participants
The Ashland - Greenwood Speech Team invites you to the annual Oxbow Speech Invitational on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Contest Specifics:
-We will be hosting our tournament at the Middle School Building.
-Please provide one judge for every 5 entries.
-We will be using eballots. Please ensure that your judges bring a laptop.
-Fees: $ 8 per entry.
-Schools may enter three competitors per event at each level for individual events; two entries per school are allowed for Duet Acting and OID.
-Registration closes and fees are set as of Wednesday, March 4, 2025. However please contact Jordyn Sheil (402) 366-1821 with drops or changes after 5 PM that day.
-The tournament will be limited to the first 15 schools that register.

We are proud to be a NIETOC bid tournament this year. Depending on the number of entries will determine how many finalists will earn bids, this will be communicated with you once registration closes.
From the NIETOC:
Bids are gained at the following levels:
0-19 contestants = FIRST PLACE BID
20-34 contestants = FIRST, SECOND & THIRD PLACE BIDS
35-50 contestants = FINAL ROUND BIDS
51-70 contestants = SEMIFINAL ROUND BIDS (HONORS FINALS)
71-99 contestants = QUARTERFINAL ROUND BIDS (MERIT FINALS)
100 + contestants = OCTAFINAL ROUND BIDS (CONSOLATION FINALS)
