2026 National HBCU Speech and Debate Championship

The National HBCU Speech and Debate League is proud to invite you to the 2026 National HBCU Speech and Debate Championship hosted at Texas Southern University.  

The tournament will feature IPDA Debate, NPDA Debate, and ten of the American Forensics Association Individual Events; this tournament will also feature Slam Poetry and Homiletics.  

We invite interested schools to bid to host HBCU Nationals. We are committed to moving the tournament around the nation as much as possible so if you have interest, please reach out!
