Welcome to the Fairmont Finale!

The Fairmont High School Speech Team invites you to the "Fairmont Finale" held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026. The tournament will include all 13 of the MSHSL events along with Programmed Oral Interpretation and Impromptu. This tournament is a NIETOC bid tournament.

Entry fee - $7.00 per entry; $14 for duo

Judges - 1 for every 6 entries or fraction thereof

Registration and Entry Deadline - Wednesday, March 25th at 4:00 p.m., at which time, registration closes to adds and fees are assessed.

​Check-in is on Saturday, March 28th, 7:00​-7:45 a.m. Please text Kathleen (507)430-5193 during that timeframe indicating your speechwire is up to date. Please include your name and school. Please let Kathleen know if you need a drop made. Any drops after 7:45am should be brought to the Tab Room so we can do it on our end. Please bring a check to the school or indicate in registration text that your check is in the mail.​

Draw meeting at 8:20 a.m. - PAC (all draws will be handled online; please bring devices)

Draws begin at 8:30 a.m. - PAC

Judges' Meeting at 8:40 a.m. - Media Center (all judging will be handled online; please bring devices. Phones are not conducive).

Time between rounds - 90 minutes

Awards ~4:00 p.m.

Homebase - Commons (concessions served all day)

Draws - PAC

Judges' Lounge - Media Center (breakfast and lunch served)
