It is our pleasure to extend this invitation to the Ogallala Invite Meet to be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Prairie View School. All times are in Mountain Time. Registration starts at 7:00am, with the contest starting at 8:00am.

 

There will be two rounds, plus finals. There will be no Novice division, but the top scoring novice in each event will be receiving a medal.

 

We will be handing out 10 medals in all 10 events. We will be awarding a Champion and a Runner-up Plaques in both the large and small school division.

 

ENTRY FEES are $7.00 for each entry. You must provide 1 judge for every 6 entries. Hired judges are $85.00 each. Please do your best to cover your entries; we only have a limited supply of judges. 

 

SCHEDULE will be crafted around entries, and will be sent out on Friday, February 20th.  

 

REGISTRATION for your team will be through SpeechWire. While the adding and editing of entries will close on Friday, February 2oth at noon, we welcome your entires as soon as possible. Minor drops will be accepted on contest day. Please text or call Whitney Soper at (308) 352-6577 and or Jen Dillinger at (308) 241-0475 on your way to the contest with your list of drops. These two ladies will be running the tab room for the contest. We will print the official schedule at 7:45am to include any changes.

 

CONCESSIONS and STUDENT HANG OUT will be located in the Commons Area Cafeteria and the Gym located in the front of the building. Concession food will be available for purchase. Refreshments will be provided in the hospitality room for all coaches/judges in the Family and Consumer Science room.
