The Menomonie High School Forensics team would like to invite you and your team to the Menomonie High School Forensics Tournament on February  7th.  

We will be using the WISDAA rules in all seventeen categories. The following information describes tournament rules and requirements:

 

ENTRIES: A school may bring as many entries as they’d like. Entry fees are $7.00 per individual entry and $12.00 per group entry. Checks should be made out to Menomonie High School Forensics. All registration adds must be submitted by TUESDAY FEBRUARY 3rd. Last minute adds are not guaranteed to be honored; last minute drops will be dropped, but the fees will be maintained. A $10 fee is added for each school attending to help offset costs of catering judges lounge food.

 

JUDGES: Each school should provide one judge for every six entries or fraction thereof. Please do your very best to cover all of your judge requirements. Reach out to tournament host - Andrea Smith, andrea_smith@msd.k12.wi.us - if you need help finding a judge.

 

AWARDS: There will be awards for first through fifth place in each category. Sweepstakes will be awarded to the top three teams.

NEW THIS YEAR - We are featuring a Power Round. The top five competitors/groups in each category after three rounds will advance to POWER ROUND. There, those top five entries will perform one last time for two judges. The total points earned at that final, POWER ROUND will determine 1st-5th place. Those not competing in those rounds are encouraged to spectate and encourage your peers! PLEASE NOTE: judges will likely be used for 4 rounds, rather than three, and will need to be available until approximately 2:00pm.

9:00AM Round 1

10:15AM Round 2

11:30 PM Round 3

1:00pm POWER ROUNDS

2:10pm(approx) Awards

 

This is an in-person tournament. We are not accepting virtual entries.
