Moeller's New Years Resolution

Moeller High School Speech and Debate is pleased to invite you to the Moeller New Years Resolution Tournament: A competition where you can reinvigorate your 2025 forensics resolutions!
We recommend that you register as early as possible due to space limitations.
Registration will start at 8-8:30 in the Moeller High School office. Please let me know if you have any questions concerns about registration by emailing me at Eeble@moeller.org.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Registration must be received no later than Thursday, January 22rd at 7pm. Please register as soon as possible. We have only a limited number of rooms and once they are filled registration will close regardless of the date.
FEES: Fees will be $5 per competitor with a base team entry fee of $10
FOOD: We will have food for sale from LaRosas (pizza, sandwiches, salads, with vegetarian options included) in our student commons. We will have additional food for sale in the morning, too.
NUMBER OF ROUNDS: We'll offer five rounds of LD / PF, four rounds of IE, and one three-hour session of Congress, followed by a final (top five in each chamber will advance to finals). We will use the following docket for Prelims and Finals:
Prelims Bills: J26-19 A Bill to Skyrocket American Artificial Intelligence; J26-20 A Bill to Require Tips in All Sit-down Restaurants; J26-21 A Bill to Establish the Municipal Tokenization Support Program; J26-24 A Bill to Make Human-Used Products Cruelty-Free
Finals Bills: J26-22 The Outer Space Surveillance Act; J26-23 A Bill to Spur Green Data Center Expansion
TOPICS: We'll use the national topics for LD and PF for January / February. For Congress, we will use bills from the January docket for 2026.
ADDRESS: Moeller is located at 9001 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242. Buses can drop off student by the Crusader statue in the front of the building, then park in the back lot. Please do not park buses on the All Saints Parish side of our school (the south side).
AWARDS: We will award certificates to top six, but we will also vote on nonprofit organizations to which we will donate a portion of our tournament fee collection. We will communicate about those nonprofits, then collect votes online from competitors.
