The Ohio Speech and Debate Association cordially invites you to the OSDA Online Tournament Series. This is a FREE tournament offered by the OSDA. It is open to ALL OSDA member schools. This tournament will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025.
The OSDA Online Tournament Series was created to expand access, strengthen competitive opportunities, and support learning across the entire State of Ohio. Many teams face challenges with travel, scheduling, or limited access to competition. By offering an online series, the OSDA hopes to provide a meaningful learning experience for students, judges, and coaches while allowing schools to connect and compete statewide. This series is designed to help new teams gain experience, help returning teams refine their skills, and create additional growth opportunities for all participants. All OSDA rules will apply to this tournament. This is not a bid qualifying tournament.
The tournament will be synchronous using SpeechWire and NSDA Campus. Please check the tournament schedule for online registration times and competition times.
We will be offering all OSDA and NSDA events, including Public Forum, Lincoln Douglas, Student Congress, Two Person Policy Debate, Dramatic Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Declamation, Original Oratory, Informative Speaking, Program Oral Interpretation, and Extemporaneous Speaking.
Student Congress will use the Ohio Speech and Debate Association December 6 docket. Lincoln Douglas, Public Forum, and Two Person Policy Debate will use the NSDA November and December 2025 topics. We will approve the first six students in each event. Additional entries may be accepted from the waitlist when possible.
Registration is open through Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 12:00 pm.
We will not provide judges for hire. Please do your best to fulfill your entire judging obligation. Teams that do not provide enough judges to cover their entries may be asked to drop entries to ensure smooth tournament operations.
