Dear Colorado Speech & Debate Coaches,

We’re thrilled to invite you and your teams to the Mountain Valley Classic, a brand-new, two-day tournament hosted by Battle Mountain High School and Eagle Valley High School up here in the beautiful Rocky Mountains!

This is a combined event that gives students a chance to compete in multiple formats across two amazing days of speech and debate.

Friday, November 14 – Battle Mountain High School (Edwards)
We’ll kick off the weekend with Big Questions Debate (1:1) and World Schools Debate (teams of up to five).
Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., followed by three rounds of competition.

Saturday, November 15 – Eagle Valley High School (Gypsum)
The excitement continues with a full Saturday tournament featuring 3A, 4A, and 5A speech and debate events.

The two schools are only about 20 minutes apart, making this a fun and easy weekend to experience both campuses and enjoy a little mountain scenery while you’re at it. We can’t wait to welcome teams back and celebrate another great season of speech and debate together.
