The Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG) invite USG institutions to join us for an online debate tournament on November 15 from 10:00-2:30. The tournament will be a 3-round tournament designed to help new schools and debaters prepare for the 3rd Regents Cup tournament to be held at Columbus State University in the Spring. 

The tournament will not have wins/losses after each round. Rather, the debaters and the judge will have a 15-minute discussion period after the round to discuss the round and to offer suggestions for improvement as well as commendations. We'll still have ballots, however. The tournament is structured more like an extended practice session with multiple schools attending so as to generate more and higher quality feedback.

Schools may bring as many debaters as they want but must provide 1 judge for every 2 debaters. The tournament will not have any "hired" judges available. 

The entry deadline will be Monday, Nov. 10 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern time.
