Dear Colleagues:

The Minnesota Collegiate Forensics Association (MCFA) Executive Committee invites you to attend the annual MCFA State Tournament to be held February 20-21, 2026 at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota!  Please note that this is a Friday-Saturday tournament.

In October 2024, the MCFA voting body decided to expand the tournament to include neighboring states that do not have a state tournament. Therefore, this tournament is open to any Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin community college, college, or university.

We will offer all eleven of the AFA-NST events, Parliamentary Debate, and both Minnesota and overall individual and team sweepstakes awards. This tournament will also serve as the Minnesota state qualification tournament for the Interstate Oratorical Contest. Persuade and Oratory will run together, with the two top Minnesota affiliated finishers moving on to represent the state at the IOA tournament in April 2026.

The MCFA Executive Committee is working hard to prepare an excellent weekend of competition and comradery. We look forward to seeing everyone in February!
