We are pleased to invite your team to the STMA Knights Speech Tournament! 

 

 

Date:  Saturday, February 7, 2026

 

Events:  All MSHSL events and Program Oral Interpretation.

 

Fees:  $7.00 per entry (Duos will count as one entry).

 

Double Entries:  Speakers may double enter. However, a student may not enter two draw events or a draw event and discussion. Experienced speakers wishing to triple enter may do so; however, triple-entered speakers may only compete in one draw event and may NOT participate in discussion.

 

Awards:  There will be championship finals in all events with medals awarded to the finalists. If numbers warrant, we will hold next-in and/or merit finals and award ribbons to those finalists. Plaques will be awarded to top placing teams.

 

Judges:     Please bring one per six entries or fraction thereof. 

 

Registration: We will have registration open until we reach 600 entries. Please register as soon as possible to ensure attendance. Once we reach our cap, I will try to accommodate adds as drops come in, but I can't guarantee entry. Please register both competitors and judges on Speechwire.com no later than Thursday, February  5th, at 4:30 pm. Drops after this date will not lower your registration fee. Adds may be possible the day of the tournament depending on numbers.
