This is a High School tournament in Ohio.

The Chagrin Falls Speech & Debate Team cordially invites you to attend our tournament on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Keep in mind:

• Middle School competition will NOT be offered at this tournament. 
• NO Double-entries.

Entries: 

OSDA Speech Events: 4 Rounds

BQD, LD, PF Debate: 4 Rounds

2P Policy Debate: 3 Rounds

Congress: 1 round; break for lunch

Entry Cap: We will cap all entries at four per category for all events offered except Congressional Debate, where we will cap at six. If you have more than four entries you wish to send, please enter them - they will be added to our waitlist and we will approve them as space becomes available. 

Entry fees: $5.00 per competitor. $10.00 per DUO, 2P, and PF team

Deadlines: 

• Deadline to add/drop entries and judges: Thursday, November 20 at 3 pm.  
• Entry fees lock on Thursday, November 20, at 3 pm. Any drops after that will incur the entry fee associated with that entry. 

Judge Requirements:

• IE: One (1) judge for every five (5) IE entries (i.e. a DUO team counts as one entry)
• PF/LD: One (1) judge for every 2 debaters/teams.
• Congress: One (1) scorer or parliamentarian for each school that has Congress entries.

Bus Directions and Parking: 

Buses: 

• Drop off all competitors at the High School bus drop off in front of the school. Then, all buses should plan to park on the 7-12 Campus.

Parking: Please follow the directors who will be helping guide traffic into the tournament. All judges, coaches, and parents should park in the orange, red and green lots. Buses should park in the blue and purple lots.

Schedule:

• 7:45 AM - Registration/Check-in. Policy Begins Round 1 at 8:30am. All other events start at 9 am.

• 3:30 PM -  In the Performing Arts Center

Snacks and Lunch: 

The Chagrin Falls Speech and Debate is preparing a spread of food options to meet MOST food needs for competitors. Please keep in mind this is our main fundraiser. We ask no food be brought in from outside unless a competitor has major food restrictions. Snack items will also be available. Adult meals for judges and coaches will be complimentary. We ask no one to leave the tournament at any time for food or any other reason. 

Giving Back:

In the spirit of the season we will be running a food drive and giving an informational presentation to increase awareness about hunger issues in Cleveland. We would like to request that schools attending our tournament bring non-perishable food items that will then be donated to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to help those in need. We will also be giving an award to the team who brings the most items. Food can be dropped off when schools check in with Tab when they arrive. We would really appreciate the assistance!
