Welcome to the 2025 Mustang Invitationational - Awards will be held in the TONY FITCH FORUM immeditately following Pattern B Finals. 

Important location change from previous years:

This year the tournament will be based out of the Locke building, not Danner Hall. 

Locke is located on the other side of the koi pond across from Danner.

Tab/Registration: Locke 108

Student Hangout/Lunch: Locke Lounge (Locke 105)

Judge Hangout Room: Locke 118

Extemp Prep: Locke 302

Parking: Parking on campus is free on the weekends, the L3 parking lot is the closest one to the Locke building where registration and the hangout room is for both students (Locke Lounge/Locke 105) and judges (Locke 118).

ADA Accomodations: PLEASE send any ADA accomodations as soon as possible so we can provide appropriate accomodations for your student.

Food at the tournament: There will be coffee and bagels available in Locke Lounge in the morning during registration. For lunch we will provide pizza. There will be vegetarian options (not vegan) and limited gluten-free options as well.

Restaurants: Across the street from the school on Pacific Avenue are an In-N-Out, Panda Express, Chipotle, and Panera Bread. There are several other options within a short drive from the school.

12:15-1:15 PM LUNCH

1:15 PM Pattern B Round 2 2:15 PM Extemp Prep

2:30 PM Pattern A Finals/Semis as Necessary

3:45 PM Pattern B Finals

Awards ASAP

Pattern A – Extemporaneous Speaking, Informative Speaking, After Dinner Speaking, Prose Interpretation and Poetry Interpretation.

Pattern B – Impromptu Speaking, Persuasive Speaking, Communication Analysis, Duo Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, and Programmed Oral Interpretation.
