We hope you are able to attend the 4th Annual Shakopee Wild Thing!

We are hosting the NIETOC Tournament this year, so we have moved the date up to better accommodate those preparations. We are thrilled to be able to offer bids in Info, OO, Humor, Extemp, Prose, Drama, POI, and Duo for said NIETOC Tournament! There will be three prelim rounds and a Final, and all students will compete as varsity, no novice. Double entries are allowed and Discussion is staggered to allow for double entries for those students. Disco can't double enter in a draw category. There will be honors finals for some categories based on final number of entries.

Extemp. Reading Prose Stories: All stories (students cannot repeat a cutting from their preliminary rounds in finals)

Extemp. Reading Poems: All poems (students cannot repeat a cutting from their preliminary rounds in finals)

Storytelling Stories: All stories (students cannot repeat a story from their preliminary rounds in finals)

Discussion Topic II - 3A, 3D, 4D, 4E

Drops: There will be a drop fee of $7 charged for any drops after 5PM Wednesday, Feb. 18.

Judges: Please bring one judge for every six (6) entries or fraction thereof. Uncovered judge slots will cost $85 each. Please make every effort to provide the required number of judges based on your entries as of 2/18/26.

9:30 AM	Round 2 Draw (ES, ER, STY)
9:45 AM	Round 2 (Discussion, Info)
10:00 AM	Round 2 (All Others)
11:15 AM	Round 3 Draw (ES, ER, STY)
11:30 AM	Round 3 (Discussion, Info)
11:45 AM	Round 3 (All Others)
1:15 PM	Finals Draw (ES, ER, STY)
1:30 PM	Final Round (All Events, but draws)
1:45 PM	Final Round (All draw Finals)
3:00 PM OR ASAP	Awards (Main Gym)

Please do preliminary registrations as soon as possible so we can plan accurately. In order to minimize scheduling problems, the tournament will be site scheduled, so drops and adds can be done up until the rounds are run. Final 1st round schedule will be run at 7:45.
