Hello Coaches,

You are cordially invited to the Canterbury Middle School Speech Tournament!

We are limiting teams to 50 entries overall and the total size of the tournament to 200 entries.

Entries are due by Wednesday December 3rd at noon.  Only name changes and drops will be accepted. All registration will be done on Speechwire.com.  Please text last minute drops to coach Kevin Torwelle ASAP at 260.446.6792

Entry limits: 7 per event for a total of 55 entries per team. No student may enter more than 2 events.

Doubling: These specific combinations will not be available due to scheduling conflicts:

DEBATE + EXTEMP
DEBATE + BROADCAST
BROADCAST + EXTEMP

All others double at their own risk. Double-entered students are responsible for getting to both events during rounds. While judges will be made aware of double entered students on their ballots, students should still inform their judges that they are double entered.

Judges: Please bring one judge for every four entries or fraction thereof (5 entries = 2 judges).  Extra judges are always welcome.

All events will have three rounds, except debate, which will have 4.

All events will follow IHSFA Middle School Event Rules

Round 3: Is it more important for students to focus deeply on one or two activities, or to explore many different clubs and sports?
