Meet Info:
The first annual Thunder Throw Down will be on Saturday, January 10th, 2026! We are super excited to finally be able to host a speech meet again, and we cannot wait to see you!
The meet will consist of 3 rounds and a final.
All thirteen MSHSL Events will be offered, as well as Impromptu.
Final Registration will begin @7:45 a.m.
Draws will begin at 8:30 a.m. and rounds will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Discussion will start roughly 15 minutes early

Awards – about 4:00p or as early as possible.

DOUBLE ENTRIES ALLOWED! Please do NOT double-enter in a discussion & a draw category or in two draw categories. Draw times will not be adjusted.
The entry fee will be $7.00 per entry.
Provide one judge for every 6 entries or a fraction thereof.
Initial Entries must be received by Sunday, January 4th, 2026. (Judges will be based on this #).
Any drops after this point will be charged a $7 fee.
Register through SpeechWire.
Please enter through the main doors at the front of the school.
The cafeteria, where students will set their stuff, will be right through the main doors.
Concessions will be available; please bring cash.
All schools will have a designated table in our home base area (the cafeteria).
