We're excited to invite you to the Gilmour Academy Novice Tournament on October 18, 2025, in Gates Mills, Ohio.

 

We are excited to invite high school and middle school novices, as well as experienced middle schoolers, to experience the excitement, joy, and lessons in resiliency provided by forensics competition. High school novices with some middle school tournament experiences are welcome to compete. 

 

Experienced varsity from the classes of 2026 and 2027 may be entered as judges. 

 

Speech rounds will have 2 judges in each section. We encourage your program’s parents, teaching colleagues, and team friends to shadow varsity judges to learn. In addition to attending the judge’s meeting at the start of October 18th, please share with your judges the amazing opportunity we all share to encourage these new speakers, debaters, and interpers.

 

If this is your program's first tournament or first tournament since 2020, please reach out if you need "loaner judges" to help make this experience possible for your students.

 

Information on lunch will be provided soon.
