OCPS Debate League Scrimmage #2

Welcome to Orange County Public Schools' Speech and Debate League's second tournament of the season at Colonial High School (6100 Oleander Drive, Orlando, FL 32807)! This tournament is for OCPS schools only. Currently we are allowing Novice and Varsity competitors (both middle and high school) with varsity team members also allowed to judge as long as they have a minimum of 75 NSDA points and are juniors and seniors.
There will be no fees associated with this tournament.
Registration Ends on Monday 11/10 at 6pm.

Lincoln Douglas
Just Talk (Novice Only)
Declamation (Novice Only)
Original Oratory
Extemp Speaking
Dramatic Performance
Extemp Debate
Impromptu
Our current Schedule is as follows:
3:00-3:30 Registration
3:30-4:30 Round 1
4:30-5:00 Break/Buffer*
5:00-6:00 Round 2
6:00-6:30 Break/Buffer*
6:30-7:00 Awards
Awards will be presented to the first 3 places in each event, as well as gavels for our Congress Presiding Officers.
*Colonial HS will be selling pizza for $1/slice. They will provide a free water bottle to competitors and light refreshments in the judge's lounge.
Judge Needs:
1 Judge for every TWO debate entries
1 Judge for every FIVE congress or speech entries

Coach must be present for the duration of the tournament. If the coach cannot be present the coach must send a letter from their principal designating a responsible adult to be in charge. It is the coaches responsibility that all volunteers are ADDitions approved.
