Hello Fellow Coaches, 

 

The Patriot Games 2026 is now OPEN for Registration. 

Here are some key details:

 

1. The PUBLIC FORUM TOC BID will be a VIRTUAL TOURNAMENT hosted on TABROOM. https://www.tabroom.com/index/tourn/index.mhtml?tourn_id=37231

 

2. We are offering an ASYNC SPEECH tournament that will start the week BEFORE the in-person tournament. 

Video links will be due in Speechwire on Monday, January 12th, by 4 pm. 

 

3. Our IN-PERSON Speech events are UKTOC and NIETOC bids. 

 

4. The in-person portion of The Patriot Games will be held at George Washington High School in Denver, CO. We are offering 4 prelims and multiple break rounds (Dependent on entry numbers) over Friday and Saturday. Events offered:

  • Debate: Policy, PF, and LD
  • Platform: Mixed-Draw Extemp, Impromptu, Informative, and Original Oratory
  • Interp: Humor, Drama, POI, DUO, Improv Pairs and Poetry*

5. Due to the influx of entries that eventually are dropped the week before the tournament, please note that we will not be moving anyone off the waitlist before January 9th, 2025. 

6. JUDGES: NEW THIS YEAR: At least HALF of your judge requirement must be on-site and checked in at all times. 
Teams must provide the following judge-to-entry ratio for the tournament.
 

  • 1 DEBATE-CODED judge for every 2 debate entries or portion thereof.
  • 1  IN-PERSON Speech OR Debate coded judge for every 8 IN-PERSON entries or portion thereof. 
  • 1 ASYNC JUDGE AVAILABLE TO JUDGE ALL DAYS OF THE ASYNC TOURNAMENT for every 6 Async entries or portion thereof.
