Welcome to the Palestine High School Invitational meet! We will have an IN-PERSON meet on Jan. 30 and Feb. 7, 2026
CX and LD Debate will be held on Friday, Jan. 30 with registration starting at 3:45. There will be 3 random rounds with awards announced that night. The cost for CX is $40 per team and LD is $30 per person. Judging requirements are 1 judge per 2 CX teams, and 1 judge per 4 LD entries. The cost for an uncovered judge is $150. Judges are preferred to fees!
All academic events will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 with registration starting at 7:40. The events DO follow the UIL conflict pattern, but times may be altered, so please pay attention to the time of each contest. If a student finishes a contest after the start of the next, they will be allowed to enter and compete in the next contest. All academic events are $12 per entry. Judges are required for Prose and Poetry and Extemp. A grader from each school is required for each event, but we do realize that coaching events may overlap. Students will need wired ear buds for the Spelling contest.
Registration closes at 5 PM on Wednesday, Jan. 21. Drops will close on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 7 PM.
There will be a concession stand for students and a hospitality room for coaches and judges.
Checks need to be made to Palestine UIL Academics; Attn: Kathleen Brown. If checks aren't available by the day of competition, please bring a copy of the P.O. the day of the competition. Any unpaid balances will be charged $150 after 30 days.
