DIRECTIONS & PARKING
Address: 7575 E County Road 150 S, Avon, IN
Drop-off: Door 1 (west side of building)
Parking: Bus parking lot (east side of building)
 
REGISTRATION & DEADLINES
All registration must be completed on www.speechwire.com.
Deadline: Wednesday, November 12 at 5:00 p.m. EST (entries locked).
Coaches may make name changes until Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Last-minute drops start at 7:00 a.m. and may be texted to 317-313-0375.
Tournament will start @ 8:30 a.m. 
Extemp Prep and WSD prep begin at @ 8:00 a.m.
Judges Meeting at 8:00 a.m. in the library. 
Please register early.
 
ENTRY LIMITS
No team caps (for now).
Each team may enter up to 4 entries per category, with a cap of 40 for a team.
Each school may bring one team, unless given advance written approval for a non-sweepstakes “B Team.”
Entries accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
 
FEES & FOOD
No entry fees.
Students must remain in the building; food will be available in the cafeteria.
Please avoid delivery services and encourage students to support our concessions.
Judges will be treated to meals from Cunningham Restaurant Group in the library.
 
DOWNLOADS
Congress: Docket posted no later than November 1.
World Schools Debate: Prepared topic posted no later than November 1.
Broadcasting & Discussion: Materials posted on Speechwire by November 10, 2025.
 
 
TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
All 15 ISSDA Speech Categories: (Bro, Disco, Dec, Info, OO, Duo, DI, HI, OP, POI, Prose, POE, Imp, IX, USX).
Debate: Congress, LD, CX, PF and World Schools Debate
Novice & Varsity Divisions 
4 rounds of competition
Event Limits:
4 entries per category per team.
Double Entries:
Speech: Allowed (except Discussion). Students assume the risk of making it to both events.
Debate: Not allowed.
Timing Notes for Extemp, Impromptu and Radio:
Extemp draws 1st and 3rd Round
World Schools:
Rd 1: Impromptu
Rd 2: Prepared
Rd 3: Prepared
Rd 4: Impromptu
Congress: 2 sessions
Broadcasting:
Rd 1: News Program (5 min)
Rd 2: News Program (5 min)
Rd 3: Breaking News (2 min prep, 2 min performance)
Rd 4: Editorial (30 min prep, 2 min performance)
 
JUDGE REQUIREMENTS
Speech & Congress: 1 judge per 5 entries (or fraction).
World Schools: 1 judge per team.
LD, CX, and PF: 1 judge per 3 entries.
 
E-Ballots:
All ballots will be submitted electronically.
Judges must bring a device (laptop or tablet).
Ballots require both rankings/scores and written critiques.
 
AWARDS
Ribbons: 1st–6th place (varsity and novice).
Team awards/trophies will also be presented.
