The Syracuse Rockets Speech Team cordially invites you and your team to the 1st annual “Rockets of The 13th”, Speech Invitational on Friday, March 13, 2026. 

We will offer two preliminary rounds and finals of all ten NSAA events.  Medals will be awarded for 1st-6th place in each event and plaques will be given to the top two sweepstakes teams.   

Entries must be in by 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 11th. We also ask that you limit your entries to no more than 3 individuals in an event and only two entries per school in group events.  I may have room available for certain events after registration closes, so if you have an event in which you want to enter additional students, please email me names and events and I can see what I can do. Please know this may result in your students hitting each other in preliminary rounds. Fees for the tournament will be $8 per slot.  Each judge you provide will cover 5 slots.  This is our first meet we may be very limited on judges, so please make a conscious effort to provide judges for all your entries. There will be a $45 fee for any uncovered judges you may have. Checks should be made out to Syracuse High School.  

A concession stand will be available all day for students to purchase lunch and snacks.  A hospitality room will be provided for all judges and coaches.
