1:30 pm: Luncheon, Announcement of Semi-Finalists and Business Meeting

8:00 am: Semi-Final A 

10:00 am: Semi- Final B 

12:00 pm: Luncheon and Announcement of Finalists 

1:30 pm: Finals

RULES:  The oration must be delivered without the aid of notes or manuscript.No oration shall contain more than 1800 words. (Although no minimum word limit is established, a 1500 word minimum is suggestedFor purposes of definition, quoted words are those written or spoken by a person other than the orator.  Such quoted matter shall be limited to 20% of the total number of words in the oration.  Direct discourse, dialogue or other stylistic devices within quotation marks created by the orator SHALL NOT be included in the 20% total.All quoted materials shall be documented.

Payment: Cash or Check is preferred. Invoices were sent last week. I will have a printed copy of the invoices at registration.  

Parking and Getting to Campus: GPS Torrence Hall. It will take them directly to a large parking lot behind Crouch and Holland Hall. When walking up the stairs from the parking lot, Holland Hall is the first building to the left, and Crouch Hall is the second building to the left. Boswell is to the right of Crouch Hall. 

Marathon Traffic 

Just to let you know, the Nashville Marathon will be occurring on Saturday morning, which could potentially disrupt your travel to campus.
