SpeechWire Tournament Services - Forensics Tournament Software

Hello!

Welcome to the inaugural Minnesota Online Speech Series, otherwise known as M.O.S.S! We are a NIETOC bid tournament, for all five tournaments. This tournament is entirely asynchronous, with full details below.

The tournament schedule is as follows:

Sunday February 2nd at NOON, all prelim rounds and ballots will be released.

Wednesday February 5th at 5PM, all ballots for prelims MUST be submitted. As soon as all ballots are in, finals will be posted.

-As soon as finals are posted, ballots will be released. Judges MUST complete their ballots by Friday at 6PM. Once all ballots are in, results will be posted on Speechwire.

Video Format:

-Videos must be publicly accessible. Please make sure when you/your students are uploading their video links, that they are set to "Anyone with the link can view".

-Videos can be posted on Youtube, Google Drive, etc. as long as their links are viewable.

-Videos may not be altered in any way. All recordings must be single-take.

-Students may not physically touch/alter their camera/recording device during the performance.

-Any videos that can not be viewed during judging will be marked as no show.

Registration and Fees

The $100 team fee is due by January 15th. The fee covers your entries in ALL M.O.S.S tournaments. If you wish to participate in a single M.O.S.S tournament, the flat fee is $50 FOR EACH.

--Out of State teams are welcome to participate. Out of State team fees are $150.

Each school is responsible for supplying its own judges.
