Dear Section 7AA Speech Coaches:

Welcome to all Section 7AA Speech Teams!

This year our section tournament will be held Saturday, April 5 at Princeton High School.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Draws begin at 10:00 a.m.

Speaking for all events begins at 10:30 a.m.

Remember, no double-entering. Limit of 6 per category. Limit of 39 total speakers.

Remember that you need to bring two adult timers (out of high school & older). Draw events will have a timer every round. The other events will be timed once in prelims and then in all Finals except Discussion.

Prior to the tournament, I will need you to email me an updated Community Standard Form signed by your principal. You can find this form on the MSHSL website. A copy should also be sent to the MSHSL.

Coaches need to bring scripts with works cited in the categories of: Original Oratory, Great Speeches, Informative, and Creative. It is required that you bring copies of all interp. selections, and the original script and the cutting. The rules interpretation committee may need to see these if there is a dispute.

Please bring $40 for additional facility fees and costs for the running of this tournament.
