Beavercreek Phoenix Invitational

Beavercreek is happy to invite all friends from across Ohio and the tri-state region to a special two-day tournament.

We are offering all high school OSDA events (including Policy(must cover judges)) on both days.

We will be between two-three buildings. Details to come but the earliest doors will open is 4:00pm Friday.

Friday will be concession snacks and light options ONLY. We expect most teams will have eaten before rounds and/or will eat after leaving the tournament site. Full menu available Saturday.

We are exploring either 2IE/3Debate Friday with early release for students to enjoy hotels/get home locally OR 3IE/4Debate Friday to maximize competition time and early release on Saturday. The decision will likely depend on the best competition structure for the number of tournament entries.

For teams coming to Beavercreek for the first time, our W9 will be located in Files for Download.

A discount for the tournament will be provided for any teams who stay overnight at a hotel.

Hired judges will be made available, primarily in speech, with priority going to teams staying in hotels to reduce their total cost for the weekend. No hired policy judges will be available.

Fees will be waived for any school with fewer than 5 entries or in their first 2 years of competition.

If your team is interested in Dayton area activities and making a full Friday trip, my first and highest recommendation is the (free!) National Museum of the US Air Force.
