Dear Coaches,

Watertown Mayer is excited to host -- “Own the Crown” JV Speech Tournament!   First-place winners-- take home the crown! We are delighted to be hosting our Middle School Speech meet at Watertown Mayer High School on Thursday, February 8th, 2024!

We will run three rounds, with Round 1 starting at 3:50 pm. We plan to have awards at 7:30 or earlier. Details for Draw Categories and Discussion will be emailed to coaches the week of the tournament. Cuttings/Tasks will follow the list on the MSHSL website.

Our tournament is at our HIGH SCHOOL building: 1001 HWY 25 NW Watertown, MN 55388. Busses should DROP off behind the HS (see email for details) and then temporarily park in the bus lot by the athletic field by the HS and main HS lot. Finally, at 3:30, the busses may move to the HS upper lot and enter Door #6. Parents/Spectators may enter through HS Door #1, at any time. 

A simple concession stand will be available for contestants and spectators.

Dinner will be provided for judges, coaches, and bus drivers

**All should bring waterbottles to refill.
