Your team is cordially invited to the Baldwin-Woodville High School Forensics Invitational at Baldwin-Woodville High School on Saturday, February 3, 2024. We will be using the WISDAA rules in all sixteen categories.

 

All categories will follow WISDAA rules, which can be found at: http://wisdaa.org.

 

Entries: A student may enter no more than two individual events. A school may register as many entries as they like, but only the top placing 25 students for each school will count towards sweepstakes. Registration fees will be $7 for each individual entry and $12 for each group entry. The entry deadline is Sunday, January 28 at 11:59pm. Please email any changes to your roster to Laura Hanson (lrhanson@bwsd.k12.wi.us).

 

Judges: Each school must provide one judge for every six entries or fraction thereof. You will be charged $75/judge to cover your uncovered entries.

 

Awards: Individual awards will be awarded to first through fifth place in each category. There will be sweepstakes trophies awarded based on team performance.

 

Concessions: Concessions will be available to students. All food and beverages should be consumed in the main lobby area.

 

I will confirm registrations via email. COACHES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PRINTING STUDENT MATERIALS.

 

SCHEDULE FOR TOURNAMENT:

En Route - Send your drops to Laura Hanson (715-977-0514) via text. Include participant name, school, category, and code.

7:30 – 8:30 Registration (lobby)

8:30 Radio and Extemporaneous speakers draw in library

9:00 Round I

10:30 Round II (Radio/Extemp begin drawing at 10:00)

12:00 Round III (Radio/Extemp begin drawing at 11:30)

2:00 AWARDS – Auditorium
